Week of December 29
Well, here we are looking at the last few days of 2008 – hard to believe, isn’t it?! Jay, Kandilyn, Eric and Marcus spent a very nice Christmas Day together – though Jay said it flew by like a blur of lights! Of course, a high-point of their day was getting to speak with Elder Jason on the phone. Jay and Eric are getting ready to take a train ride adventure in a couple of days, to celebrate Eric’s 18th birthday. We took a little break from working on Jay’s book for the holidays, but will start working at it again next week.
Jay is preparing a message for the New Year, and it will include some greetings from his boys as well. Look for that to come soon.
In a couple of days, we will be drawing the name for the prize on Jay’s e-mail group. When we launched the new e-mail group, we mentioned anyone signing up by the end of December would be eligible for the drawing of a prize. So, if you haven’t signed up, don’t wait any longer! We have over 600 members already, but you know there are more Jay fans out there than that!
The easiest way to sign-up is by putting your e-mail address in the box at the bottom of Jay’s homepage:

Wishing all of you a very happy, healthy and properous 2009,

Week of December 22nd
It was quite a hectic last several days as Jay, along with Wayne and wife Kathy, Merrill, and the band made their way to the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conneticut this past Thursday – right as a big snow storm came along! Friday’s performance was tough for many to get to, but as everyone knows, for the Osmonds…the show must go on! They had a lot of fun at the performances Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and set out to make their way home today. Jay got home this evening, and was so glad he made it – since another storm was hitting the East Coast. Now it is time, after a long and hectic schedule, to enjoy some time at home for the holidays!
I personally wanted to thank all of you for the kind words, thoughtful e-mails and cards, that you have sent my way this Christmas Season. I appreciate all of you, and wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy 2009!
I hope all of you have had a chance to take a look at Jay’s Christmas message on his website, if not, please be sure to visit www.jayosmond.com/Christmas08.html
The Happiest of Holidays to All of You!

Week of December 15th
I asked Jay about his trip this past weekend to Spokane, Washington for the Christmas show performances with brothers Wayne and Merrill. He responded by telling me…
“I froze my tail off! My kids thought it was funny, now they call me POPsicle!”
Yeah, I know, I asked! HA
Jay is thinking about going back into the recording studio to possibly record a few songs. As many of you know, he’s mentioned releasing a solo CD, “It’s About Time Again.” With any luck, we’ll have this to look forward to in the near future!

Week of December 8th
Just a few more performances in Branson, and the Osmond Brothers’ Christmas shows will be finished for 2008. Jay and Wayne have enjoyed having nephew David perform these last few shows with them, while brother Jimmy is in the U.K.
It took a little while, but Jay is excited his “Little Drummer Boy” DVD with the Brunson Brothers is finished in time for Christmas. We managed to get it into the gift shop at the Branson Variety Theater for these last few shows, and I am happy to let all of you know it is now available through Jay’s online store. This was produced in a very limited edition, so if you want to add it to your DVD collection, don’t wait! This video does not include Jay’s drum solo, just “The Little Drummer Boy” song itself, but is packed with so much energy and excitement, I know you’ll love it.
As mentioned on Jay’s NEW e-mail list, he’s asking everyone to e-mail Elder Alex Osmond at elderosmond@myldsmail.net. Elder Osmond is recovering from pneumonia, and his Uncle Jay thinks it would be very uplifting for him to receive “well wishes” in his e-mail box.
Also, if you’d like to send Elder Jason Osmond a Christmas card, Jay wanted to share that address again:
Elder Jason G. Osmond, Tennessee Nashville Mission, 105 Westpark Dr., Suite 190, Brentwood, TN 37027.
Of course, please don’t forget all of the other very devoted missionaries out there this Holiday Season!
Last, but not least, don’t forget to sign-up on Jay’s new official e-mail list. He’ll be posting on it this week, and you don’t want to miss what he has to say!

Have a great week everyone!

Week of December 1st
Jay really enjoyed his visit with sons Eric and Marcus. The boys headed back home yesterday. Last night, nephew David arrived, and they spent some time after last night’s show getting David ready for replacing Jimmy’s part in the Branson Variety Spirit of Christmas shows through December 10th.
Jay’s Holiday Greeting webpage has been a tradition for several years now, and this year’s greeting is now online. Jay tells a very heart-warming story about his recording of “Little Drummer Boy,” which as most of you know, he’s released on CD single.
We’ve put together a fun little grouping for the holidays on eBay, and I really think you will love it. It is SO cute. If you have a chance, stop by www.ebay.com, and put Item #250335729629 in the search box.
Check out the really exciting Jay raffle going on now through Saturday – you won’t believe the prizes!
