Photos from Wayne, Merrill & Jay’s Valentine’s Day concert in Effingham, Illinois at the Rosebud Theatre are now online. Jay really enjoyed their time at the Rosebud Theatre, and was happy to see those of you who were able to make it to the show.

He has a busy week ahead of him as the brothers (Wayne, Merrill & Jay) head to sunny Florida for 12 shows in 4 days at Busch Gardens in Tampa. I’ll have some reports for you next week on the Busch Gardens shows.
Jay’s birthday is just one week from today! A special section in his folder on the Osmond Brothers’ forum has been set up to leave birthday greetings for Jay. Make sure you stop by!

Jay’s “It’s About Time Again” CD is moving along. It won’t be quite ready for ordering on his birthday like he wanted, but it isn’t too far off. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on that.
I know this is short notice, but details have finally been worked out for Jay to do a Fireside in Nashville, Tennessee, where his son, Elder Jason Osmond, is currently serving his mission with the LDS Church. Kandilyn will also be there, and nephew David (Alan’s son) will be joining Jay for this inspirational evening.

We are getting really excited about Jay’s new CD. He anticipates there will be 11 songs on it. He has laid down the tracks on three songs in a very unique way. He said normally you sing to the instrumental track, but Jay has actually laid down the vocals with no instrumental tracks. The instrumentals are now being added. When he laid down the drum tracks, he played while he “listened to the the song in his head.” Needless to say, Jay is being very creative with this project. It is his goal to complete it for his birthday. I think it is going to fabulous!

Jay was one of millions watching nephew David when his American Idol audition aired on television last week. If you missed it, you can see the clip of the audition, and read what David has posted in his blog about the experience by visiting:
An update on Elder (Jason) Osmond…he has been moved again, and has been made a trainer of other missionaries, as well as a district leader over two cities. He’s been extremely busy, but loving his missionary experience.
Jay did some more recording – he’s done the vocals on a few more songs. “It’s About Time Again” is moving along folks!
