Jay is finally back home in Utah! He hasn’t been home since before the brothers’ cruise March 17-24, because he went directly to Vegas from the cruise. So, after almost two weeks traveling, he’s happy to get back to his family. The brothers had a great time at The Suncoast in Las Vegas, as usual. Wayne’s daughter Sarah and her husband went to one of the shows, as did daughter Michelle and her boyfriend. Also in attendance were Merrill’s sons Justin, and Shane and his family, as well as Merrill’s wife, Mary. A special guest in the audience Sunday night was sister Marie, who even sang one song with her brothers! Saturday, the brothers did a radio program from Vegas. We’ll have photos on Jay’s site soon covering The Suncoast excitement.
I’m happy to say that Jay will be having a professional photo shoot, probably the end of April. We’ll have great new photos for Jay’s upcoming CD release, “It’s About Time Again,” for his book, “The Stages of My Life,” and who knows where else the new photos will be showing up?!
Speaking of Jay’s book, he has a new goal for the release. He was born in 1955, and next March he’ll be 55, so he thought it might be a cool milestone to celebrate with the release of the book. It is just taking more time than he originally anticipated, but he wants it to be just right. So, that is his goal for the book now.
Have a great week,
Terri

Jay, Wayne and Merrill – and wives – get off the cruise ship tomorrow. Next stop – Vegas! The brothers always enjoy performing at The Suncoast, and look forward to seeing those of you able to make it. Wayne and Kathy JUST MAY be going to Donny & Marie’s show, so keep an eye out if you’re going to be at D&M’s show, you MIGHT see some Osmonds in the audience.
There will also be some Osmonds in the audiences at The Suncoast for the brothers’ shows, as some of their children will be there to watch their fathers and uncles perform.
Jay will welcome the few weeks he’ll have off after The Suncoast. It will give him some time to catch up with things at home, one of which is his CD, “It’s About Time Again.” Jay has decided this CD will mostly be a re-release of his solo cassette “It’s About Time,” because so many of you have asked for it to be released on CD. HOWEVER, there will be a few new BONUS TRACKS added. These tracks are really going to be unlike anything you’ve heard Jay do solo – and I think all of you will love it.
Jay’s online store has been changed a little bit. It now allows you to have a “shopping cart,” and order more than one thing at a time. I’m hoping I’ve gotten it running glitch-free, but please let me know if you have any problems. Hopefully the change will make your shopping experience easier. We hope to have some new JAY items to offer online soon. I’ll keep everyone informed of any additions through this blog and Jay’s e-mail group.
Have a great week everyone!
Terri

Jay and Kandilyn, along with Wayne and Kathy, and Merrill and Mary, are all headed for the brothers’ next cruise performance. It was a bit hectic traveling for them today, as all of their flights were delayed. Luckily, they were able to all make their connections, and are well on their way to a week of cruising.
I wanted to let everyone know, that we are putting together a nice memory webpage on Jay’s site from the Nashville Fireside March 1st. It is taking a little longer than expected, due to a bad audio copy of the talks that I’m transcribing from. However, the Mission President is supplying us with a better audio to work from, and we’ll hopefully have the webpage all put together for you soon. It will be worth the wait, as it will include some great photos, and a summary written by Jay from his experience. Again, sorry for the delay in getting this put together.
Terri
Thank you!
I want to thank all those who posted a “Happy Birthday” to me on my 54th birthday. It made me feel so good as I looked at all the messages I received. As I was reading these wonderful greetings, I thought of how so many of you have been such a big part of my life! When we were younger, my mother instilled in us a great love for those who considered themselves “fans.” In fact, there were a lot of people who called my parents “Father and Mother” (and they loved that!).

Jay has really been busy, just coming off of a 12 shows in 4 days run at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida with brothers Wayne and Merrill. He flew directly from Tampa to Nashville, Tennessee March 1st, just in time to meet with nephew David and prepare for their Fireside that evening. Before the Fireside, Jay, Kandilyn and David were invited to dinner at the Mission House where Elder Jason Osmond is serving. They were treated to a special guest at dinner…Elder Osmond! It was a wonderful family reunion, and the smiles were bigger than I’ve ever seen on these Osmond faces. The Fireside was absolutely wonderful, and I will have the transcript from Jay, Kandilyn, David, and Elder Osmond’s talks soon…along with photos. Following the Fireside was a reception, and an autograph line with Jay and David. This went on for almost as long as the Fireside itself! At the close of the evening, there was a little birthday party for Jay back at the hotel with Kandilyn, David, myself and Mary Ellen Cunningham – as well as the birthday boy himself. Monday, Jay and Kandilyn had special permission from the Mission President to have lunch with Elder Osmond. Kandilyn returned home Tuesday, March 3rd, but Jay stayed on to be trained by Elder Osmond, and then spent some time doing some tracting with him. Jay said this was sure to be one of his most special and memorable birthdays.
There is a nice press article on Jay’s website from the February 14th Effingham, Illinois date, so make sure to stop by Jay’s NEWS webpage to give that a read.
Jay was very touched by all of the wonderful birthday greetings left for him on the Osmond Brothers’ forum. He thanks everyone for thinking of him, and wants all of you to know how much your messages mean to him. I’m sure as soon as he has a minute, he’ll leave a message of thanks himself.
Now, it is back to recording his new CD – “It’s About Time Again.”
